Bonté Returns & Exchanges Policy

Our Philosophy

1. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

For all ready-to-wear items purchased online, you have a legal right to change your mind:

  • Notification: You must notify us of your intent to return within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Return Window: Once notified, you have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original, saleable condition—unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached. We reserve the right to reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by unnecessary handling (e.g., makeup stains or perfume scents).

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
  • Within 30 Days: You have a "short-term right to reject" for a full refund.
  • After 30 Days: We will offer a repair or replacement in the first instance.
  • Shipping Costs: We will cover the return postage costs for any faulty items.

3. How to Return

  1. Contact Us: Email hello@bonteandco.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Package Securely: Use original packaging where possible to ensure the item is protected during transit.
  3. Shipping: For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for lost returns.
  4. Refund Processing: Once received and inspected, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 14 days. We will not refund any standard delivery cost you paid at checkout.

4. Exclusions

For hygiene and safety, we cannot accept returns on:
  • Earrings (if the seal is broken or if they were unsealed for delivery).
  • Underwear or swimwear where the hygiene seal has been removed.
